A step into 'RAJASTHANI CULTURE' !!!

Commonly known as the "Land of Kings", the topographical variation of Rajasthan, its culture is a wide spectrum of brilliant hues. Its colourful costume attracts everyone.!! Rajasthan is colorful because of what its people wear..The dull-colored monotone of the sands and hills look cheery with the vibrant spirits of the people who wear bright colors to make up for the absence of blossoming flowers..Rajasthani Turbans, this is what attracted us towards that place in the first go..

 Rajasthani cuisine :
Rajasthani cuisine is very unique and it was my pleasure to experience and taste the rajasthani food that day !!The cuisine of Rajasthan is highly influenced by both the war-like lifestyles of its inhabitants and the availability of ingredients in the desert region. Scarcity of water and lack of fresh green vegetables also had their effect on Rajasthani cooking..

One particular Thali (थाली) consisted of 22 items in all ., including dal batti, chhajh, rice, bajre ki khichdi,raabdi and many more ..
For the purpose of drinking water, a special copper coated steel glass was used. It was i guess, about 5 times heavier han normal glass we use in our routine.

 In all. it was a great time experiencing the culture of North-West India, the way they live, eat .Had a great time !!!

Christmas.. is simply awesum !! Chilly frozen winters !! Huge jackets !! hot coffee !!! with a tinge of family luv <3 !!!!

Heyy !!! I am back to my blog aftr those hectic end-sems..phew !!

so here's my new post ..

Teenage ..as we ol know and are going through..Some quote it is the most beautiful period of  life and the lifetime memories...

A friend of mine told me a few months back : 

                   You will miss being a teenager when u grow up !!! 

Undoubtedly true ! 

No matter teenage is a roller-coaster ride..has ups and downs..sorrows and joys.. Not everyone will understand you.Not evryone will take up your side..Not everyone will pay heed to what you say ..People are two faced and they do act extra-sweet.Not a Big Deal !!,.People do consider other's feelings as toys to play with.Teenage is a sensitive stage..Attention, fun, parties, disc..one cant reach 20s by relying on these.. Teenage is like the sand that moulds your life ahead..what matters is the way we handle our feelings as well as others..Many a times, important dates are missed, compliments are forgotten..Sometimes we thank others without actually feeling it from the bottom of our hearts and sometimes we forget to give them that well deserved pat on the back..Thinking too much of others makes the original YOu into you to vanish away gradually..
Love yourself and the situation you live in .. 

               'You cannot spray the perfume of happiness on others without getting a few drops on yourself first'. 

Teenage is stressed with lotsa problems..Crush..Breakup.. Friends..Fight..Tears..Parents..

And above all.. GENERATION GAP !! ..

Parents have their own perception.Their own way to look at things.that definitely can never match with us.,In that case, one can never call them "outdated"..They no doubt, have more experience than us.and have seen more life.. Respect them.They do deserve it !

Enjoy ur fullest ..but dont forget the responsibilies you have..

There are miles to go before you sleep.!

Be tough..Act mature...Enjoy .. and most importantly  'Dont make anyone a priority in your life when you are just an option for them.'

Have a move on wen things start hurting..Be strong,,Enjoy life..Collect memories while you pass into ur 20s.. coz its the time that wont return...
